Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a part time Accounting Clerk to join our team. This person will work approximately 15-20 hours per week right now. There may be additional hours available in the future. This individual will report to the Accounting Manager and will work on a variety of Accounting Responsibilities including:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Bank Deposits
  • Cash Receipts
  • Accounts Payable
  • Filing and general office work
  • Generating various accounting reports
  • Special Projects as needed as determined by Accounting Manager
  • Assists in monthly and annual closings
  • Answers AR/AP inquiries and follows up

Requirements

  • Able to process financial data in a confidential and professional manner

The right individual will have a minimum of 3 years experience of previous experience in Accounting, experience with Quickbooks, Peachtree or similar accounting software as well as Microsoft Excel.
